Insurance – Subrogation — Third-party beneficiaries

Where (1) a fire occurred at a storage facility, (2) plaintiff insurance companies paid claims to insureds who owned farm equipment that was stored at the facility at the time of the fire and (3) the plaintiff then brought subrogation actions against the defendant insurer of the facility, the defendant should have been awarded summary disposition, as the plaintiffs are not entitled to enforce the insurance policy between the defendant and the facility owner.
