Where (1) a plaintiff entered into a three-year service agreement under which the plaintiff “would provide all cleaning chemicals, cleaning equipment, grounds equipment, and snow removal equipment,” (2) the plaintiff purchased and obtained title to the necessary equipment and thereafter used that equipment to perform the contractual maintenance services and (3) at the end of the contract term, defendants barred plaintiff from retaking possession of the equipment, the defendants should have been awarded summary disposition on the plaintiff's conversion count which is barred by governmental immunity, but the plaintiff should be permitted to proceed with a breach-of-contract count.
